Compare app-building workflows

Compare RNBlocks with Figma, v0, Bolt, Lovable, Replit, Base44 and FlutterFlow by output, editing workflow and release path.

5 min readUpdated Oct 1, 2026

Start with what you want people to use: a design, a website, or an installed mobile app. Then compare the editing, testing and release workflow for that outcome.

RNBlocks combines a screen and flow library with conversational React Native app creation, native previews, connectors and a publishing workspace. Compare how each tool handles editing, testing and releasing the app you want to build.

Where the workflows differ

ToolA useful comparison to make

Figma

Design collaboration and Figma Make’s functional web apps versus a React Native app journey.

v0

Full-stack web development and Vercel deployment versus native mobile delivery.

Bolt

Its Expo mobile workflow versus RNBlocks’ Studio and publishing workspace.

Lovable

Web applications, PWAs and wrapper paths versus React Native output.

Replit

Its native mobile and cloud development workflow versus RNBlocks’ app-focused workspace.

Base44

Its web-view store app packages versus React Native screens and release preparation.

FlutterFlow

Flutter/Dart and a visual editor versus React Native/TypeScript and conversational editing.

Compare one real journey

  1. Pick a small outcome

For example: a person signs in, saves a destination, closes the app and finds it again after reopening. Use the same requirements and sample data in each tool.

  2. Inspect the actual result

Run it where customers will use it. Check navigation, keyboard, loading, errors and saved data. A phone-sized browser screenshot alone does not establish the behavior of an installed app.

  3. Follow the release path

Identify which account owns the app, how a test build is created, where store assets live and which steps happen outside the builder. Try updating the same app identity.

  4. Check the handoff

Inspect the exported source, backend dependencies and ongoing service costs. Decide who will maintain the app and which framework they can support.

Read these comparisons as a starting point

Check the features and plan access you need before choosing a tool. Each comparison includes links to the provider’s guides for setup, pricing requirements and release steps.

A builder can help prepare a release, but Apple and Google still control store requirements and review. RNBlocks’ own account and release guides describe the supported actions and remaining provider steps.
