# The app behind the preview

> Understand the React Native, Expo and TypeScript project generated by RNBlocks and its connected services.

RNBlocks apps use React Native and Expo. The generated source can be inspected in Studio and exported for further development.

## Read the generated project

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/tech-stack#project

Open **Code** to inspect the app’s screens, navigation, types and supporting files. The exact layout depends on the app. Use the project’s own package manifest and configuration as the source of truth for SDK and dependency versions.

| Part | Purpose |
| --- | --- |
| React Native | Native app UI and interactions. |
| Expo | Runtime, device preview and build tooling. |
| TypeScript | Application code and shared types. |
| Connected services | Accounts, stored data, AI responses, generated images or voice when configured. |

## Preview compatibility and native code

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/tech-stack#native

Some packages or native capabilities need a development build. A successful Web preview does not establish iOS or Android compatibility. Test the target native platform and the eventual build.

Share the goal, reproducible test steps and the exported source. Include the intended target platforms and service dependencies; transfer account access through the provider’s permission controls rather than copying secrets into messages.
