# RNBlocks vs Lovable

> Compare Lovable’s web application and mobile delivery options with RNBlocks’ React Native Studio and publishing workflow.

Lovable documents a full-stack web application workflow with editable code and connected backend features. RNBlocks builds React Native mobile apps. Decide which experience your users need before comparing the editing tools.

## Distinguish mobile-friendly from React Native

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/comparison/rnblocks-vs-lovable#lovable

Lovable’s current FAQ says it builds web applications and does not generate React Native projects. It describes two phone-installation routes: a PWA added to the home screen, or a wrapper such as Capacitor for store distribution.

Those can be deliberate product choices. A responsive browser experience or wrapped web app should be evaluated on its own behavior, including any native features your product requires.

## What each workflow brings together

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/comparison/rnblocks-vs-lovable#workflows

Lovable’s overview includes frontend, backend, authentication, integrations and web deployment, with code synchronization for external engineering workflows.

RNBlocks brings conversational app editing, native previews and connectors into Studio. Its Publish workspace adds release settings, screenshot design, listing drafts and reviewed publishing actions. Use the release guides to check which steps happen in RNBlocks and which happen with providers.

## Try the experience your users will have

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/comparison/rnblocks-vs-lovable#scenario

For each route, check the same saved-data and error cases. Do not choose solely from a desktop preview or an attractive home screen.

| Product need | A useful trial |
| --- | --- |
| A service reached from a link | Open the published app on desktop and mobile browsers, sign in and complete the main task. |
| A phone app with native interaction | Test the actual phone interface, keyboard, navigation and required device permissions. |
| An existing web app entering stores | Test the wrapper route with required native features, store materials and the account used for submission. |

## Plan shared services and migration separately

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/comparison/rnblocks-vs-lovable#migration

Moving from a web project to a React Native project can require a different interface and navigation. Existing APIs and data may be reusable, but credentials, access rules and client behavior still need review.

Start by rebuilding one important journey in React Native, then plan how to preserve existing users and data.
